My Pet

Bodie was adopted into our family at 1.5 years old. His first family were the Marlers (his name there was Odie) but they thought he would like living with us more. We are so glad they decided that!
Bodie is very sweet, and spent 6 weeks cuddling with his daddy after a motorcycle accident. He LOOOOVES to sleep, and will often ask to go back to bed when everyone else is up. He takes good care of his little sister, playing hard but never hurting. He lets her be in charge most of the time but some days has his limits.
Bodie does NOT like cats, and his mom's first (and only) attempt to babysit a kitty was cut very short when he chased the kitty, which jumped onto the window screen and then fell outside with it. He gets very jealous and does not like his daddy to pay attention to his friend (?) Sausage.
Bodie was very thin (and not neutered) when he came to us, but has since come to love boney-bones and has gotten a lot bigger. People ask if he is part Basset but we have been assured he is not. He has the softest fur so he needs brushed alot (mom's allergic) but as long as there's a chance to cuddle (whether it be person or pillow) all is good in Bodie's world.
